Capstar is available in tablet form and is administered orally to dogs and cats. It begins to kill fleas within 30 minutes of administration and can provide relief from itching and discomfort caused by fleas within hours. Capstar is intended as a short-term treatment and is not effective in preventing future flea infestations.
 
WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
