I’m Talita Moolman, and for more than 10 years, my love for animals has shaped not only my career, but my entire life. From 2019 to 2022, you would have found me at Pet and Vet Stop, where my curiosity for animal care exploded into a full-on passion. Researching, learning, and sharing knowledge about pets became my daily joy—and helping people give their animals better, happier lives became my purpose.

When Pet and Vet Stop had to close its doors at the end of 2022, I was heartbroken. But the idea of giving up on this journey? Not an option. So Out of the Dog Box was born—first as an online store, and now with a brand new home at 307 13th Avenue, Gezina (yes, we sniffed out our own spot 🐶).

Out of the Dog Box isn’t just another pet shop. It’s a place where tails wag, people smile, and care comes first. We’re not the biggest, but we’re personal. We’re passionate. And every product we stock has been carefully chosen with love, knowledge, and a dash of cheeky fun.
